Cloud Delivery Lead

Lead a major cloud environment establishment program inside a large, complex enterprise undergoing a significant technology transformation.

You'll own a defined cloud delivery workstream end-to-end, from planning through to implementation. That means coordinating cloud engineers, architects, security specialists, infrastructure teams, and platform engineers to get environments stood up, governed, and operationally ready. You're the person who keeps things moving when dependencies pile up and competing priorities threaten timelines.

This is a senior coordination role sitting at the intersection of technical delivery and program governance. You'll be working inside a genuinely complex enterprise environment, the kind where decisions involve multiple teams, governance forums, and senior technology leaders. If you've operated in financial services, government, or telecommunications before, you'll recognise the terrain quickly.

The work itself is substantive. You're not just tracking milestones in a spreadsheet. You'll be close enough to the technical work to have credible conversations with cloud engineers and architects about landing zone design, network connectivity, access management, and environment readiness. That technical credibility is what separates this role from a pure project management position.

What You'll Do

• Own and lead a cloud delivery workstream from initiation through to implementation, including delivery plans, milestones, and governance reporting.
• Coordinate cloud environment setup and landing zone implementation across engineering, infrastructure, security, and platform teams.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and blockers across multiple concurrent workstreams, escalating where needed to keep delivery on track.
• Present delivery status and outcomes to senior technology leaders and governance forums across the organisation.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience leading cloud, infrastructure, or platform delivery programs inside large enterprise environments.
• Solid technical grounding across cloud platforms, infrastructure, or platform engineering, enough to engage credibly with architects and engineers.
• Experience managing delivery dependencies across cross-functional technical teams in regulated or complex environments.
• Familiarity with cloud governance, landing zones, and enterprise cloud operating models. Relevant certifications in cloud or project delivery are a bonus.
