Migrate five legacy CI/CD platforms into a single GitHub Actions environment for a large enterprise post-acquisition consolidation.

You'll work across a real migration, moving pipelines from Bamboo, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps, and Bitbucket into GitHub Actions and a GitHub Enterprise Managed Users environment. You'll also uplift security scanning coverage using Checkmarx and GitHub Actions-based scanning, refactor Terraform where needed, and help the team understand what's actually migrated versus what's still quietly running on legacy tooling.

This is a six-month engagement with two days per week on-site in Sydney or Melbourne, and the rest remote. The environment is structured and controlled, so if you've worked in regulated settings before, you'll recognise the pace and the process. You won't be handed a clean slate. Some of what you inherit will be partially migrated, inconsistent, or still dependent on tools the team is trying to retire.

What you will get is meaningful, concrete work with clear scope. The consolidation is real, the need is genuine, and the team needs someone who can assess the actual state of things and make progress without needing everything to be tidy first. If you've done CI/CD migrations in enterprise environments and know how to operate inside GitHub Enterprise with proper guardrails in place, this is a solid six months of work that's relevant and well-defined.

What You'll Do

• Migrate pipelines from Bamboo, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps, and Bitbucket into GitHub Actions.
• Move code and pipeline configurations into a GitHub Enterprise Managed Users environment with secure SDLC controls.
• Improve code and security scanning coverage across repositories using Checkmarx and GitHub Actions-based tooling.
• Refactor Terraform configurations and provide platform engineering support across the broader environment.

What You'll Need

• Strong hands-on experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD migration in enterprise settings.
• Experience with at least two of Bamboo, Octopus Deploy, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps as source platforms.
• AWS and Terraform experience in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps controls inside GitHub, ideally including GitHub EMU, Checkmarx, SonarCloud, or ServiceNow-integrated quality gates.
