Azure Network Engineer

We're uplifting our Azure network infrastructure. They'll design, build, and codify Azure networking end to end, then transfer it so the permanent team so that they can operate independently. Build-and-transfer engagement.

The work will entail Azure VNET architectures (hub-spoke topologies, segmentation, peering), Azure Firewall policies enforcing least-privilege access, and Site-to-Site VPN with private endpoint connectivity for hybrid integration. Everything as Terraform – reusable modules, remote state, CI/CD-integrated plan/apply workflows – with automated IaC testing (Terratest, Checkov, tflint) validating security baselines before anything deploys. They'll produce architecture decision records, topology diagrams, and operational runbooks, and deliver structured knowledge transfer through pairing, workshops, and documentation.

The profile would fit engineers who own complex Azure network builds independently – identify architectural issues, resolve them, and document everything they do. Foundation: 3years hands-on Azure networking (VNETs, Firewall, VPN Gateway, private endpoints, NSGs), deep Terraform for Azure knowledge and strong documentation discipline.
