This role is for a senior technologist who enjoys owning architectural decisions and implementing them in production code. You will help evolve our Azure landscape, guide platform transformation, and directly build services that support clinicians, clients, and families.

You are a senior cloud architect/engineer who thrives in complex environments and transformation programs. You enjoy balancing strategic thinking with practical execution and are comfortable working across architecture, engineering, and delivery. Architect and implement Azure-based cloud scalable solutions.
Lead technical decision-making for platform modernisation initiatives. Partner closely with engineering, product, and clinical stakeholders. Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines, self-service tooling, and automated workflows.
Improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and observability.
Deep experience across Azure cloud environments. NET essential) Proven experience designing and implementing cloud architectures. Solid understanding of APIs, integrations, and data persistence patterns.
Strong experience with relational and NoSQL data stores, including PostgreSQL and Azure Cosmos DB. Strong grasp of SDLC and modern platform engineering practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to explain trade-offs clearly.
Clear communication skills and confidence working in agile teams.
10years of professional software engineering experience. Minimum of 3years of Azure cloud architecture experience is required. Azure Kubernetes experience required.
Proficient in C#. Proficient in Terraform on Azure. Proven experience designing and operating PostgreSQL databases in production environments.
Comfortable working across the full software development lifecycle, using Agile/Scrum and modern Git-based workflows. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, analyse alternatives, and deliver practical solutions. Experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines across Azure DevOps and GitHub, with practical knowledge of observability, monitoring, and modern DevOps operating models.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, comfortable working in a team undergoing technical uplift. Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience. You must have the right to live and work in Australia.
Azure architecture certifications. Experience working with Ruby on Rails codebases or platforms. Experience in healthcare or mental-health environments, including familiarity with interoperability standards such as FHIR / HL7 and regulated, privacy-sensitive data.
