Get to Know Ariella!

Where was you favourite holiday ever and what was your favourite memory from that holiday?

My favourite would definitely be spending 5 weeks travelling around Mexico and Peru with my best friend. We travelled from one end of Mexico to the other, did the Inca Trail and spent a few nights in the Amazon Rainforest.

We saw incredible archaeological sites, got to meet amazing people, ate insanely good food and drank the best Mezcal!

What do you get up to when you’re not Recruiting?

When I’m not recruiting, I’m usually at brunch during the day, and at the pub at night; just a big social butterfly so always like to spend my time off with people I love.

What do you like most about working at Change Recruitment?

The people for sure. The office has this constant buzz and everyone gets along so well that most days it doesn’t even really feel like I’m coming to work, just coming in to do some recruitment and hang out with my friends.

If someone was considering a role in recruitment, what advice would you give them?

Do it! I was pretty nervous to make the transition into recruitment, but I’m so glad that I did. My biggest advice would be to go with your gut on the agency you choose. Starting in a new job is hard no matter the industry, so I’d recommend focusing less on what you’d be recruiting for and more on who you’ve got around you and the support you’ve got in the team – in my opinion, that makes the biggest difference.

What’s the best experience you’ve had with us thus far?

The Christmas party – we went to a beautiful lunch in the Rocks, got every entrée on the menu and insanely good steaks, then went bowling which got a litttlee competitive but was super fun and then went out and partied the rest of the night! Was so fun to just have a great night out with everyone.

What’s a fun fact that most people wouldn’t know about you?

My first language was actually Hungarian! My entire family is from Hungary, so we always spoke it at home when I was growing up. I’m not fluent anymore but can still understand most things!
