You'll get proper funding for training and certifications with study leave and actually leave on time most days. You'll work hybrid with three days in Melbourne's CBD and two from home. The tech stack includes AWS services like ECS, EKS, Lambda, and CloudWatch alongside MuleSoft for integrations.

You'll have the autonomy to implement database standards and security policies without constant approvals. You'll join a team that's modernising decades-old systems handling millions of records and transactions. They're expanding beyond core services into new digital offerings and value-added products.

What You'll Do

Plan and implement DB2/SQL upgrades and maintenance across enterprise-scale databases Monitor performance metrics, configure alerting thresholds, and conduct root cause analysis Write and tune SQL while collaborating with development teams on performance improvements Mentor junior DBAs and provide technical leadership for complex database issues
