Role details
Build production AI agents that plug directly into enterprise ERP and finance systems, for a venture-backed fintech with real customers and real revenue at stake.
You'll design, build and ship agentic AI systems into production, working across LLM applications, multi-agent workflows and backend services that connect to the financial infrastructure large enterprises actually run on. This is hands-on engineering from architecture through to deployment, not prototyping work that never ships.
The team is small and highly technical, which means you'll have genuine input into architecture decisions from day one. The stack includes Python, AWS Bedrock, LangChain, LangGraph and RAG, with integrations into ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle and NetSuite, plus procurement and payment systems. You're working on problems that are genuinely hard, financial data analysis, transaction automation and complex workflow orchestration at enterprise scale.
Multiple positions are available across mid, senior and principal levels, so the scope of what you own will match where you sit. Being a startup, the pace is real and the structure is lean. What you get in return is the kind of technical challenge and architectural ownership that doesn't come up often, plus the chance to shape how the product evolves as the team grows.
What You'll Do
- Design and deploy production AI agents, LLM applications and multi-agent workflows using LangChain, LangGraph and AWS Bedrock.
- Build backend services, APIs and integrations in Python on AWS that connect AI systems to enterprise ERP, procurement and payment platforms.
- Own end-to-end technical delivery across architecture, development, deployment, monitoring and optimisation.
- Work directly with a small engineering team to define technical direction and build out the core product.
What You'll Need
- Commercial experience building and shipping AI or LLM applications into production, including agentic or multi-agent systems.
- Strong Python and backend engineering skills, with hands-on AWS experience and familiarity with modern AI frameworks.
- Understanding of data engineering, APIs, databases and distributed systems in an enterprise context.
- Exposure to ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), procurement tools (Coupa, Ariba) or financial services and payments is a genuine advantage.
